Six American Indians will share their stories. They will share their tribal history/culture/traditions. Few of the elders participated in the relocation program that brought Indians into the Dallas area and shaped the early Dallas Indian history. They will give light of how it was to develop a community and form a new contemporary tradition outside of their comfort zone. The six tribes that will be involved are Ponca, Kiowa, Apache, Wichita, Comanche, and Caddo.

The Elders Presentation will honor Ms. Bernice Whitefeather, the last full blood tribal member of the Wichita tribe.
